During this tour you get to know local people and way of living, visit historic and culturally special places on a bicycle.
You cycle independently at your pace but interpreter and driver will always stay close by. You will meet see each other at the next destination.
The cycling route includes challenging off road tracks yet with beautiful views. You pass beautiful mountain rivers in huge gorges, sandy canyon and, of course, the incredible panoramic view to Issykkul Lake.

You can bring your own bike. Renting a bike in Bishkek is also an option. For that please, inform us 3 months in advance. We strongly recommend you a mountain bike or off road/trekking bike with wide tires. You can cycle with a small bag with necessary items, the rest of your luggage will be transported by car.
It is possible, during the tour, to adjust the route by choosing the less challenging road or other way around. Moreover, you can combine this tour with few days of hiking or visiting e.g. At Bashy.

|1||Manas – Bishkek||900 m||Arrival in Bishkek. Have a rest. Get brief information about the whole tour, about places to be visited. After lunch make a city tour, visiting open air gallery, historical museum, Osh market etc. Have a welcoming dinner at the restaurant. Overnight stay in hotel.|
|2||Bishkek – Burana – Chyrpykty||ca 1650 m||Breakfast, transfer to Chyrpykty village, which is lokated on the northern part of Issyk-Kul lake. On the way, visiting the Burana tower (15 km from the main road), an architectural complex of the 10 – 11thcenturies (the Great Silk Road). Arrive afternoon. Prepare the bikes and cycle around. Stay at home by local family.|
|3||Chyrpykty – Cholpon Ata – Grigorevka

|After breakfast drive to Cholpon – Ata to visit historical museum and an open – air petroglyphs (rock painting) gallery (5 km from Cholpon – Ata). Start cycling at the end of Bosteri village till Grigorevka – Bel Zhan yurt lodge ca 45 km. Lunch en route. Dinner and overnight is in yurt.|
|4||Grigorevka – Tup||ca 80 km||Early breakfast and early start because of a long way ca 80 km (asphalt road) till the Tup village. Lunch en route. Dinner and accommodation is by local family.|
|5||Tup – Karkyra pass – Tup||ca 60 km one way||Breakfast, bike to Karkyra pass and then the same way back to Tup (Go till the pass by car and the way back biking or viсe versa). Have a picnic in the nature.|
|6||Tup – Tepke – Karakol||Short one is ca. 45 km;
long one – ca. 90km
|Breakfast, start biking to Karakol city, but take the detour via village Tepke and others, depending on chosen route. Lunch en route. Dinner is at café. Overnight is at CBT guesthouse (a guesthouse organized by Community Based Tourism Association in Kyrgyzstan).|
|7||Karakol – Djeti Oguz||ca 45 km||Have a breakfast and then do the city tour: visit the Dungan Mosque styled as a Chinese pagoda, the Russian Orthodox Church and museum. Cycling to Djeti-Oguz Gorge, seven large red rocks known as “Seven Bulls” and the “Broken Heart” a huge rock in a form of a broken heart with plenty of ancient legends about a sad love story. Here you can also visit a sanatorium of Soviet period. Have a picnic in area of Kok Jaiyk after which you can also hike up to a waterfall. Overnight in yurt.|
|8||Djeti-Oguz – Saruu||ca 80 km||Breakfast and start biking down Djeti-Oguz Gorge and head to the Saruu village. Overnight is by local family.|
|9||Saruu||ca 45 km||After breakfast biking to Juuku – Suu Gorge, to the hot mineral spring. This is popular among local people. Enjoy with peaceful nature during the picnic lunch. Come back to village afternoon. Overnight is by local family.|
|10||Saruu – Tamga||ca 60 km||Breakfast, bike to Tamga village (the asphalt road). Overnight is by local family.|

|Breakfast, transfer by car till Tosor village, then biking up the Tosor gorge then going down to Kajy-Sai village and biking on asphalt road till Bokonbaevo jurt camp. Or optional: taking a bad road till Bokonbaevo. Picnic on the way. In the evening walk or bike to the beach and have a swim in the lake. Accommodation is in jurt.|
|12||Bokonbaevo Almaluu Jurt camp||Have a well-earned rest. Have late breakfast, go to Bokonbaevo to visit local workshops, witness process of making Kyrgyz national carpets and other handicrafts made by local people, which you can also buy. Afternoon go to the lake, beach time, and swim. Meals and overnight is in the yurt camp.|
|13||Bokonbaevo – Temir Kanat – Ak Sai||ca 65 km||Breakfast. Bike to Temir Kanat, have there a lunch, then bike to Ak Sai via sandy-clayish canyon. You`ll see different landscape. Go to the beach. Accommodation is by local family.|
|14||Ak Sai – Salt lake – Ak Sai
End of cycling
|ca 25 km||Breakfast and go to the Salt lake (12 km one way), popular place among locals, because of cure ability of salt lake from different skin diseases, have a picnic at the beach. Come back afternoon. Stay at local family.|
|15||Ak Sai – Bishkek||Breakfast, transfer to Bishkek. Lunch en route. Go to market for buying souvenirs. Farewell dinner is at restaurant. Overnight is in hotel.|
|16||Departure||Transfer to Airport and say goodbye to Kyrgyzstan!|
